On Monday 29 July 2024, the Internal Relations and Gender Equity Committee of the IWW-CYROC organised a highly successful seminar on true Consent and its high importance, for the members of our Regional Organising Committee. We want to thank the multispace El taller for hosting the event, as well as all our fellow Wobblies who attended!
In a country where sexual harassment in the workplace runs rampant, survivors are being victimised and perpetrators are not held accountable, and true sexual education is non-existent, such seminars are more than necessary.
IWW-CYROC wants to take this opportunity to remind all fellow workers out there that every issue faced by a member of the working class is a worker issue, and that the One Big Union is here so we can deal with it collectively and decisively.
